All references in this Terms and Conditions to “we,” “us,” or “our” shall refer to UK Open IT Ltd.
CHECKING YOUR ORDER
It is up to you to check that your order is correct. There are facilities to enable you to correct any inputting errors prior to the submission of your order. If however you realize that you have made a mistake then do call us and we will see whether it is possible to intercept the order before it is accepted by us. Please note that our online courses run for 1 year unless otherwise stated. If you wish to study into year 2, please contact our training staff.
ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS
We are not obliged to supply goods or services to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and this is when the contract is made. We normally do this by email under the heading "Confirmed Order". If you have not supplied us with an email address then we will send a written "Confirmed Order" to you at any other address that you have given to us.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION
If a course is booked or held and a request to cancel is received within the 14 days period then this will be fully granted. In the event of a refund, an administration fee of £75+VAT will be charged.
Once a course has been accessed, we cannot grant a refund. Please ensure you have the correct course before ordering. Please note, refunds are not available for discounted products.
Any delay in payment by a specified payment date will incur a £5 fee.
COURSE PACKAGES INCLUDING EXAMS
All exams must be taken within 12 months of course activation. Exam credits will be given only on exam booking.
Our order system encrypts all your personal information including your name, address and credit or debit card details using industry standard secure socket technology (SSL). This is intended to ensure that information passed between your computer and this site cannot be read in the unlikely event that it is intercepted by someone else.
All prices quoted are in sterling (UK pounds). Due to fluctuations in supplier price, we reserve the right to change our prices without notice. Although any such price changes will be applied instantly to this web site, allowing you to be aware of them before ordering.
TRADING HOURS AND RESPONSE TIMES
Our office hours are 9am to 6pm UK time. All orders and quotations received are acknowledged by email. Customer emails received by us will be responded to within a maximum of 2 (two) working days of receipt unless due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. ISP failure).
We only collect information about you that you provide us with during the ordering or registration process whether you do this online or by other approved methods.
We collect this information to enable us to process your orders in an efficient manner and to assist us in seeking to provide a high quality service to you. We also use it for the other purposes set out in this Privacy Statement.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
You also consent that we may track your use of the site and use any cookies or personal data for the provision of demographic information of an aggregated and collective nature for our own analysis of commercial trends, site usage and other similar research and statistics. You also consent that we may share this with third parties in an anonymous format that does not allow you to be identified.
We will not pass your personal data on to any third parties save for the purposes of supplying the goods concerned which may include passing your details to suppliers and couriers for the purpose of fulfilling your orders.
